The name Firehawk was birthed out of a long and exhaustive time of prayer and was divinely provided long before there was a known need or purpose.
The Firehawk is a bird native to Australia and said to have unusual skills from most birds. They are uniquely known because rather than avoid danger, they fly into danger in order to grab small embers or sticks from contained fires or wildfires, taking them to another region and starting a blaze there. They are doing this to chase out prey from these areas.
To summarize simply: the Firehawk seeks fire, captures a small flame and moves to another dry/parched area, releases that small flame to set a new area on fire and in that process chases out their prey to devour them.
This brings to mind a spiritual application: find a heart on fire, multiply and spread, set another heart on fire, and watch the fire drive out the darkness.
Biblical framework of Firehawk::
John 1:1-5 NIV
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
John 1:14 MSG
“The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood.
